FAQ

  • Hot yoga is a yoga practice performed in a heated room—usually between 90–105°F (32–40°C). The heat helps warm your muscles, increase flexibility, and encourage sweating, which can help detoxify the body. It’s similar to regular yoga in terms of poses and breathwork, but the heated environment adds intensity and promotes deeper stretching.

  • Not at all! Hot yoga is for all fitness levels, from total beginners to seasoned yogis. Instructors offer modifications for each pose so you can move at your own pace. Flexibility and balance develop over time—the most important thing is to listen to your body and stay hydrated.

  • You’ll need a yoga mat, a large towel (to cover your mat and absorb sweat), and a water bottle.

  • Hydrate well throughout the day and avoid heavy meals 1–2 hours before class. Arrive 10–15 minutes early so you can acclimate to the heat and meet your instructor. It’s completely normal to take breaks or sit down during class—your comfort and safety come first.

  • Hot yoga can help improve flexibility, increase strength, boost circulation, and reduce stress. Many people also report clearer skin, better sleep, and a greater sense of mental focus and calm. Over time, consistent practice can support both physical and emotional well-being.
