In 2013, a small flame ignited the Spark in Snohomish, WA.

After years of dreaming of bringing her passion for hot yoga to the community she calls home, Spark Hot Yoga founder Janette Johnson found the perfect location in Snohomish Station.

Today – a decade later - Spark Hot Yoga in Snohomish offers 40 classes each week and employs more than 20 instructors.

Aside from opening the Snohomish studio, the next best business decision she ever made was partnering with Kami and Chuck to open the Marysville studio. This unique partnership allows Spark Hot Yoga students the ‘flexibility’ (no yoga pun intended) to practice at TWO locations, which means more classes that fit into busy life and work schedules.

The Snohomish studio offers 1,600 square feet in which to practice – making it one of the largest yoga studios on the Pacific Northwest. The room is heated with a unique combination of a traditional commercial system (with medical grade filters) AND infrared heaters which can support flexibility, increase circulation and promote relaxation.

Janette

Janette has been teaching yoga and wellness classes for more than 15 years, and is known for her light-hearted, playful approach to movement…and life!

Driven by a deep-rooted passion for education and service, Janette is involved with the Snohomish Education Foundation and is devoted to growing her teen yoga program.

She is a proud yet exhausted mom to two teenage boys (hence, she relies on the stress-reducing benefits of yoga). And except for the when he leaves the TV on after he walks out of the living room, Janette is over-the-moon in love with her husband Bryan and she is a dog-mom to the world’s cutest Havanese dog. No debate about it – he really is the cutest!

Questions about the studio or starting your yoga journey? Reach out to Janette here - she’ll get back to you as soon as she turns off the TV in her empty living room.

There is a Spark in you.

Let it SHINE.
